Much of the same could be said for defending champions Portugal, who have an embarrassment of riches heading into Euro 2020. While the likes of Germany and resurgent sides such as Italy and the Netherlands can’t quite compete with them in terms of quantity, the quality is certainly there....

Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick disclosed their interest in making the winger’s loan deal permanent, but that his parent club are in pole position to decide as his contract does not include a clause for such. EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson proposed solutions to ease rising energy prices.
